Clunk sound after starting car and releasing clutch

I'll have my car in Neutral and start the engine. When I go to release the clutch after starting the car, I can hear a clunk towards the bottom of the car/rear of the car.

Not sure if this is normal or not?

If your car is moving, it could be the rear calipers releasing the pads ..... could be the e-brake releasing the shoes (if it was set) ..... could be the ABS doing a self check. Those are OK things.

If the "clunk" is coming from the driveline, that may not be a good thing. That should be checked.
