Dublin monthly meet + Need for Speed?!

Sooooo our monthly meet is coming up on Friday, ANNNNND coincidentally the Need for Speed movie is coming out on the very same Friday as well!

So... should we turn this meet into a fairly special one? and maybe everyone should start pre-purchasing their tickets, and I am sure the theater will be packed like crazy that day. and if anything, we should see alot of car enthusiasts out there with their cars as well!

Just a thought, but let's definitely watch the movie that day, if anyone cares to join me! =]

So.. any suggestions?

Maybe something like some how try to get multiple parkings together at the theater or something else?

probably bad timing to get a response... a lot of the active meet folks are probably at the SF/Daly City meet tonight. Wait another day or so...

however, also note this proposal -- South Bay crowd may plan to go watch it on Thurs : http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=694

I wish I could do Thursday... it would be alot less crowed, maybe..

However, as a student, week days are a no go for me =[

You're right, I'll have to give it a few days to get responds.

Alright.. just wondering how many of you are planing to go to the movie tomorrow. I'm still debating if I should even go down for that meet tomorrow..

I plan to go to the meet, but not the movie.

Just not into the cinema-going experience anymore. Too expensive, too crowded, just not my thing when I have a decent home theater. I'd rather just hang out with others, go to dinner, etc. than sit in a dark theater with mostly strangers listening to people cough, sneeze, phones ringing and screens glowing as people text and FB and babies cry because their moronic parents brought them to a loud violent movie. Yeah it could just be me turning old and cranky lol.

You make going to the movies sound not so fun. I've had lots of fun in a dark, loud, glowing sticks room, filled with inattentive patrons not giving a hoot what's happening next to them. I mean "...what movie is this again...oh...". Where were we...

Haha jk jk

I'd love to watch Need for Speed. However, I'd much rather hang out, chat, and have a good time sharing thoughts and having good conversation. Checking out each other's rides helps too! lol :D

PMok, I can relate. I like the interaction with friends more than sitting next to friends not saying anything. :word:
