Trying to do this but don't feel comfortable doing this

it's really as easy as it looks takes about 5 minutes to adjust

EpidemicFRS 03-11-2014 07:12 PM

I'm worried that I might make the clutch engage at all times and wear it out or mess up my throw out bearings like someone else did in the thread.

just make sure you test it before assuming it is fine. If you can't tell if the clutch is always engaging you really shouldn't be modding the clutch position in the first place

Hence why I need someone's help. The clutch engagement in this car is horrible compare to my old car. People said the car is more enjoyable after this mod which is something I'm looking forward to.

the adjustment really is personal preference...i meant that if the clutch is engaging all the time you should be able to tell its not like it won't be noticable...not trying to be a d1ck here just trying you convince you to go for it...I'm assuming the guy that wrecked the clutch wasn't familiar with a manual transmission

Oh no worries I don't think your trying to be a d1ck

I made that video. It's really so simple. As long as you set your clutch somewhere roughly even with the brake, it'll be great. Just tighten everything back up that you loosen.

Ya I bookmarked that video. I guess it's something I'm gonna have to try myself lol thanks for the video though.

It's much easier to do this task if you aren't big and old. Just getting into position to do this nearly kills me. Not nearly as limber as I used to be.
