So no one in san antonio ordered a FR-S or BR-Z? Well it was to be expected in a town filled with 1/4 mile guys that love v8 camaros and mustangs lol.

We haven't heard anything as far as when we are getting it.

Universal Scion has not told me an exact eta either they are just saying sometime in June maybe earlier but i still dont have my VIN:mad0259:. What number are you at North park? are you #1 on the list?

Im stationed at lackland but buying mine from a dealership back home when i get back from overseas. Lets just say you will see a fr-s whiteout rolling and with some airforce plates in a few months lol

I contacted SoA today and got my vin. Estimated delivery date is June 5th.

Anyone know if any of the Scion dealers in SA have a relatively short waitlist? I'm #7 on one here in Austin and was wondering if I could have a shorter wait somewhere in SA :)

No clue if there are any Scion dealerships with short lists, I know there are a couple around here though.

I don't think you will have a problem getting a FRS in SA. There are so many scion dealers here. Like 6 or 7. All are pretty big Toyota/scion dealers. There is one on the south side where I know u will be able to get one easy.

Subaru is a different story, there are only 2 dealers. One really really small one that is not really in SA but just north of SA and north park Subaru. A pretty big subie dealer.

I was at universal scion yesterday and a guy was reserving his , sales guy gave him an eta for october thats how far out they are. Im scheduled for sometime in june i hope its the first week lol.




While i was there they had the First 86 that was going to be delivered today i think. I loved the little think you sit so close to the ground and everything feels great inside not to big not to small, i took my helmet and i fit perfectly with it on and im 6'3

Almost went with the 6MT Whiteout FRS but, the BRZ Limited won me over with the extra features after losing out on the First 86 contest. When did you place your order for the FRS?

I've got a long wait ahead being #11 at North Park and they are only allocated 10 for the year! Only hope is that they somehow fill my order sooner based on the color selection!

I'm thinking there needs to be some meet-up events in S.A. in the near future, too.

I ordered it back by the end of february im #2 on the list after the first 86 contest winner i cant wait any longer!! :burnrubber:

That would probally be a pretty small meet i dont see alot of ppl having them that soon lol

San Antonio already has a very active Subaru community. We meet every Thursday night at some restaurant and stay until close.

We hardly talk about cars unless someone is planning on doing something or needs advice, whatever. Its basically just a gathering of friends who all happen to drive Subaru's.

Anybody check the 5 other Scion dealerships in San Antonio? What are their lists like?

Have ordered from Toyota of Boerne. Mine expected to arrive 5/28.

The first 86 from universal is at the SASCA autox event. Driver no where to be found though. Probably out on course.

Lol, that would be my car. I picked it up from Universal Toyota Friday evening. From the cars in the grid, that looks like the first heat and I was definitely on course working with decibel-o-meter.

Oh, yeah it was first heat. People were walking by and snapping photos like crazy. Thank you so much for letting me get a ride in it. You handled that course like a champ.

Subbin' for dealer experiences and to bum rides off of people. :drool: An FR-S/BRZ is definitely in my future, but probably not for a while.

@Satown86 I heard nothing but praise for your car from people who got rides at Retama. Congrats!

P.S. I'm planning to be at the Coffee and Rides event this Saturday at the Panera bread at 1604/Blanco around 8am if you want to come out and drool at my baby and all the rest of the sick rides that show up.

That was smooth as fuck! LOL! Man the car is awesome bro!

Thanks for the list :w00t:, I'm definitely going to check out some of these roads once I get my BRZ. I get to take PR 37 and 211 everyday to work, I love my daily commute.

Any signs of the BRZ's showing up yet?

Alamo Toyota has a charcoal FRS but they marked it up an extra $4k.

According to the dealer database I saw on Saturday the first BRZ should be in SA on the 12th of next month.

Oh nice. Is that at north park? I haven't had the best of luck with them in the past so I was thinking about trying gillman. I'm not on any list so the scion might be the best bet.

Been catching the news on here whenever I can but first post finally. Started out at #5 on the list at North Park for BRZ but then changed color twice and got bumped to #7. Every time I saw a new pic, I would go back and change the color. Finally settled on WRB and who knows when that will come in, very likely in the Fall. Will be hitting up coffee and cars until then to see all of yours but just don't make fun of the car that I show up in!!

I saw that list on Tuesday. Looked like there were 4 cars with VIN #s assigned. Would one of those be yours? :)

Yup. Unless anything has changed since I last saw it, my car should be here a week from Tuesday.

Hello, i dont have an FR-S yet but will be looking to get one within the next year... (sucks wait that long to get one but i can tell it'll be well worth the wait...) My current ride is an 06 Pontiac Vibe slightly modded. looking forward to owning one of these bad boys and being part of this community
