To answer you question No, but the mod isn't worth it.

Why is that?

I seen people say its night and day and people say it wont make any difference.

I agree that it isn't worth it when you have a Vortech, and no your won't need a new tune for one. Changing pulleys is something naturally aspirated guys do when they are looking for one or two more ponies.

^^Agreed. I actually went back to the stock pulley, and went with a lighter flywheel. Much better results:thumbsup:

I see, well the acceleration is not the greatest sometimes, anything else i can do besides E85?

I think what OP is looking for is a smaller diameter pulley, rather than one that is lighter. A smaller diameter pulley will make the "night and day difference" you were looking for as it allows you to run more boost.

He wasn't asking about a smaller crank pulley.

And ileven if he was, you're wrong anyway. A smaller crank pulley would under drive the supercharger.

Then what's that? I don't know the exact dimensions of the stock pulley so I assume the ones that raceseng produced are smaller - smaller = more rotations = more boost

Also, vortech can provide you with options of purchasing smaller pulleys with their kit so you can run higher boost levels.. now please retract your statement and apologize.

If you still doubt me, here's a vid: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0waNW__aQ4A"]Supercharged frs Vortech 2.87 pulley e85 Dynosty t - YouTube[/ame]

A pulley for a supercharger, a supercharger the OP doesn't have.

I won't retract nor apologise, YOU are wrong.

OP is talking about a crank pulley.
You said a smaller crank pulley will increase boost, it won't, it will drive all accessories including a supercharger slower.
You then link to a smaller supercharger pulley. For a supercharger the OP doesn't have.

A smaller supercharger pulley will increase supercharger drive. But a smaller crank pulley will have the opposite effect.

Again, refer my signature.
