BRZ Stock nav unit Froze?

Hey guys
I have the stock Subaru BRZ touch screen nav (AVIC-X9310BT). I had to disconnect the battery now when I turn the car on all I see is a password screen, however I can't press any buttons to get past it, and all the letters are greyed out.

Anyone seen this before? Not sure what to try, none of the hard buttons work either. Any help is appreciated.. thanks :)

Did your dealer provide you with the password?

No, there is no password set on it. I'm not able to even type a password if I had set one because all of the keys are greyed out. I might end up calling the dealer and see what they say.

I've seen the password screen before in the past when my battery was reconnected or when you remove the front theft piece (not sure what it's called), but I've always been able to just hit the back button and get to the main screen.

Default password is 00000 unless your dealer changed it.

Thanks, I'll try that out (car is stored right now). But from what I recall I couldn't enter anything, the screen wasn't responding to any touches.
