My other car and story of why I am on this site!

So the start of the story begins with me owning multiple VWs including a corrado, 2 s13s a datsun 300zx, and my current headache a 2005 neon SRT4.

Overall I love my srt4 but the main problem I have with it is a few short months after purchasing the car the FRS and BRZ came out and I fell in love with it instantly.

My SRT4 has gone through some times starting with the day I bought it. The car belonged to a kid who did not appreciate his car what so ever he had two 05 srt4s and when I asked him if it had the timing belt done and the water pump done and he stated yes. The car only had 64k miles on her when I bought it but little did I know I was in over my head I had problem after problem. First being my caliper taking a dump and sticking next one being a clutch the next one being an intake gasket all normal items that go on a used car. When asking the owner about what has been done he presented me a receipt for an 05 srt for a water pump, plugs, wires etc. Turns out it was for his other 05.

One day I was driving down the street and my car decided to mis fire like no other and it turns out the coil pack had gone out on me so once I replaced the coil pack I changed my wires car ran great for about 50 miles when I started getting major spark blow out at wot I pulled my plugs and saw that the plugs were done and had the wrong gap replaced them with champion coppers and the car than ran great (for some reason these dodges run great with them).

Literally 200 miles later I noticed my had been over heating so I swapped out the thermostat, coolant temp sensor, flushed radiator and replaced my radiator with a mishimotor radiator and still my car was over heating well I pulled my water pump and the guy never changed the pump it like he stated. It was still the factory pump unfortunately I was to late and after changed the pump my car was still over heating and I received the white exhaust smoke of death my head gasket was done.

I used this as an opportunity to do a nice build on the car so I ordered a spec clutch, billet shift fork and shift selector, je pistons with crower rods, new gaskets, b. crower retainers springs and bc stage 3 camshafts. I had than decided this way entirely way to much for stock turbo so I had purchased a tubular manifold and picked up a cheap holset hx35 turbo that I had rebuilt with a billet compressor wheel a new cartridge, bullseye power exhaust housing with 4 bolt flange and a cold side housing, agp big dmic with hard pipes. I realized that other things were messed up such as no vacuum lines going to my tip sensor (never a good idea for the srt) anything for the computer to monitor boost was completely hacked away and bypassed.I was then waiting for my new injectors and email tune for my diablo sport tuner when someone stole some parts.

The town I am from is a small town which ironically ended up getting a bunch of teenagers with srt4s and my car stood out due to being one of few white srt4s. This being said I had my car parked out side my step dads shop this winter while waiting on parts and a spot to open up in the shop to finish my build. The car was out side for easily three days and as my injectors had arrived I went to install them at the shop when I noticed strange foot prints in the snow leading up to my car. As I got to my car someone had stolen the hood, my intercooler, radiator, ac condenser, cut my power steering lines stole my turbo with manifold my intake manifold. The worst part about everything was they even tried stealing my head. They removed the cams, head bolts broke my timing cover tried to pry my head off in the middle of a snow storm in below zero weather.

The engine may have been salvageable if I had gotten to it sooner but the head was shot and my car was being investigated by the police and my insurance company so I was not allowed to move it or touch it till it was over. A month and a half later insurance cut me a check and I was $327.44 away from having my car totaled.

I pulled everything apart and my block was cracked due to having no coolant in the motor so I gave up on the whole high hp build and decided to keep it simple. I purchased a low mileage motor and factory turbo and went with a bullseye power bat-mo-wheel which is an upgraded billet compressor wheel, 750cc injectors, my 255 fuel pump and run e85. On top of that I purchased 3 bar sensors (t.i.p and map) extruded my intake manifold, ported exhaust manifold, ordered a cf seibon hood, cxracing coilovers and I was golden.

motor is now in and I am almost ready for start up I installed my coilovers only to find more that was hacked up by the owner main thing being the aftermarket tein springs were installed upside down. This summer to finish my project the car is getting a new paint job and being sold to buy my FRS! Luckily I just started selling Scions and Toyotas! Here are some pics!

Wow talk about a nightmare. No wonder you're selling it lol.

Hahah overall I love the car I just want something with a warranty that is fun to drive that i can just tinker with not rebuild. I just so happen to get a job working at a Toyota/Scion dealership and I feel like it is destined to be. I feel like what ever I sell the car for will be a nice chunk towards a down payment along with some mods.
