ST Coilovers; camber.
Hey guys, first post finally! Been lurking for the forum for well over a year!
I've finally made up my mind on the coilovers for my FRS. Suspension Techniques (ST). I had KW V2's in my RSX and really loved the KW feel. So for the money I can't go wrong with the STs. My question is, I do lap every month or so. I never got a chance to lap with my RSX on the KW V2s so I'm unsure how the slotted coilover design will hold up to light tracking (e.g. I'm still learning racing and this is a completely new platform for me). From what I read some people either use the stock bolts and slide them over a far a possible to get the camber they desire. Some, use camber bolts to achieve this. I know for DD not having the camber bolts will be fine (with the natural camber along with the slotted coil over), but, I'm just unsure about when I'm on the track whether they will slip. My first time out will be at a racing school and I really don't want them to slip and ruin the weekend for me lol. Anyone have any experience with this? This platform or another. Thanks guys, if you think I'm missing anything please fill me in! |
