Oh. He works for a junk yard and bought the car via copart. His intro claimed that he was driving it in Ohio and the car was wrecked. It was sold in Alabama, wrecked in Georgia and he bought it through his yard through a copart auction in Atlanta, Georgia and shipped it up to him in Ohio. He then tried to flip it for a quick profit stating it's minimal repairs while missing obviously damaged bits, stating it had a 5 speed manual, it was all stock (minus the mods in the pictures which he must have missed, yet installed because he "owned" it?), etc. I challenged him and he got mad. Others googled his youtube name and found all sorts of stuff about the guy being a complete d-bag. His new story is that he drives for work and wrecked it in GA to make the cars history match up better. I know guys that work for yards doing parts sales. None of them drive their personal cars across multiple states for work. |

It's beyond obvious that you know him, you didn't have to state it. My information is based on tracking it's VIN and talking to the dealer, who wouldn't tell me who bought it but did say that Mr. Kaz did not buy the car. They could have lied. Either way, his story made no sense and when confronted he did whine and ask to delete the entire thread instead of proving his side of the story (which could have been *easily* proven). I have no bias beyond cutting down on bullshit when I see what I think is bullshit. Quote:

For what it's worth, explain how he wrecked it in Ohio, but it was sold at auction physically in Atlanta, GA. As for his sale of the car, I wish him the best of luck. The car came out nice for what it is. |
