I read through this thread and was impressed at how the car came out but saw you guys referencing an ebay post of the car for sale, was wondering if there was some kind of illegal thing that happened with this.

Oh. He works for a junk yard and bought the car via copart. His intro claimed that he was driving it in Ohio and the car was wrecked. It was sold in Alabama, wrecked in Georgia and he bought it through his yard through a copart auction in Atlanta, Georgia and shipped it up to him in Ohio. He then tried to flip it for a quick profit stating it's minimal repairs while missing obviously damaged bits, stating it had a 5 speed manual, it was all stock (minus the mods in the pictures which he must have missed, yet installed because he "owned" it?), etc.

I challenged him and he got mad. Others googled his youtube name and found all sorts of stuff about the guy being a complete d-bag.

His new story is that he drives for work and wrecked it in GA to make the cars history match up better. I know guys that work for yards doing parts sales. None of them drive their personal cars across multiple states for work.

Well, none of that is true at all. It was his car.... and he built it like he said he was going to in that post? I know him personally. His company supplies us with high performance late model engines and custom builds. You sure do have a lot of false, biased information for being a moderator for this site?

It's beyond obvious that you know him, you didn't have to state it.

My information is based on tracking it's VIN and talking to the dealer, who wouldn't tell me who bought it but did say that Mr. Kaz did not buy the car. They could have lied. Either way, his story made no sense and when confronted he did whine and ask to delete the entire thread instead of proving his side of the story (which could have been *easily* proven). I have no bias beyond cutting down on bullshit when I see what I think is bullshit.

Actually, he was banned for putting the personal information of "whitefrs" on the forum. After he was ripped off, as were many others. Where is this harassment you speak of? Again, more personal vendetta :w00t:
Yep, a personal vendetta against someone I couldn't give two shits about. I based that reply on the ban message. I did not ban him.

So how is he the original owner on the title then, and the carfax still shows one owner on eBay? Whats the point in making up all these lies? I sure hope this isnt how all moderators act...
The car was sold through copart. Any number of things could have happened. I have a car myself that's missing an owner change (I know because I sold the car and bought it back later and it shows that I am the original owner still - which I am technically as I rebought the car but it did had another owner). I asked him to prove it back in March, he declined. If he proves it I'll freely admit he really was the original owner. I just suspect (and have stated it as such) that I don't believe that he is.

For what it's worth, explain how he wrecked it in Ohio, but it was sold at auction physically in Atlanta, GA.

As for his sale of the car, I wish him the best of luck. The car came out nice for what it is.
