First 86er picked FR-S today in Tampa area.!

My Old service manager at Auotway Toyota/Scion in Pinellas Park FL called me this morning and said They got one of the first 86ers cars in and said i should come down and see it before he gets it. About 10min after that i get a Text from a friend that works in the shop with a pic of the car in detail shop. The car was white :drool: (ill get a pic up after i get off work). But before i was able to go on lunch the guy came and got his car :cry: im sorry that i didn't get down fast enough to get more pics of the car.

The manager said after the test drive WITH the customer "the car handled Very nicely very responsive and the car was much quicker then expected its a hell of a car" im very happy to hear this.
He also said that "more of them would not be far behind" but no time frame.

All of this happened with in 3hrs.

So im excited and hope my FR-S will be in with in the next few weeks!

it looks good a hell but my orders been placed for Raven.

But I don't trust Toyota white very much when i was working at Toyota we had cars and trucks that where from 07-08 and 2 years latter the clear on the car was almost all gone and was basically flat white it was a common thing.

But idk if they fixed that or it was only a specific color code or what?

Not that Subaru's paint is any better, but the FR-S/BRZ's are painted by Subaru, not Toyota.

Yeah Idk much about Subaru paint.

Its between black or white for me although asphalt looks pretty good, the reason i said i was starting to reconsider white is not because paint quality but for the simple fact that everyone seems to want it. Though i suppose its only natural with the legendary AE86 being iconed as white.

Yeah that's understandable it seems most of the first cars are white. I like white myself but im not a big fan of it on sports cars. I was going with black but it shows dirt like crazy so thinking about getting asphalt now. The dealer im working with has a Raven black coming in on Wednesday so ill get pics of that. I have pics of the white 1 but my phones been acting stupid.
