FT86speedfactory group purchase
 

Aloha All,

Not sure if this idea is economical, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I am purchasing a boat load of parts from Yo at FT86speedfactory, and I figured it couldn't hurt to ask for a discount on shipping. I understand that more parts means more shipping costs, but hey, I am willing to pay those fees regardless...I am not sure if any of you are in the market for any parts, if so, I am trying to work the shipping issue with Yo and his team. In the meantime, I will keep this thread posted. Also, if anyone knows a site that has competitive pricing, don't be shy...I am always open for suggestions.

I could go for the exhaust hole cover, but thats about it. I went to buy it, and then saw a ~$40 charge for shipping for something that fits in a flat-rate box...fuck that.

Is that for the driver or passenger side? Either way, as soon as I get a reply from Yo, I will try to see what the difference is, "If any," with that item added to my shopping list. Maybe they can just throw it in one of my boxes and call it a day :D. I will keep you posted.

I am ready to purchase now...the only problem is, they do not reply and/or respond in a timely manner. Apparently, they are a company of 3 employees and stated that they are having a difficult time keeping up with demand. "Maybe hire more people?" Anywho, I have not heard back from them since this past Wednesday, and because of that, I have already purchased a hand full of parts else where and am in the middle of working with another company as we speak. In the end, the only part I really want to purchase from FT86speedfactory, is their FT86 Catted header. As for the other parts that I "Were" going to purchase from them, might not happen. Either way, Speedfactory's UEL header is my #1 choice.

Are you looking to purchase anything? If so, do you have a timeline?

Damn, sorry guys...FT86speedfactory is on back order for their UEL headers. Wait time is 8-10 weeks; therefore, I do not recommend jumping in on this order. Evidently, this will not be my last order and I will have many more purchase orders to come. I will keep you folks posted on other possible tag-along-orders.
