Need tint in Portland?
 

Hey guys, an old friend of mine just opened a tint shop in Tigard. He does good work, I trust him with all of my cars, and I thought I would help him out a little.

Pricing: $140 for 35% (legal) and $150 for 20%. Regular pricing: $200 and $220, respectively.

Tint type: Johnson Films Renegade

TINT DAY: WEDNESDAY MARCH 26TH

thursdays work for me, and certain wednesdays as well.

Why not sooner man.. I would have do it bit I am tinted but at 40 percent and hating it. But is okay. Unless he can retint lol

He's not gonna retint for that price... it's a pain to peel all the old tint and get the windows pristine again.

as long as I know at least a week in advance so I can request the day off.

He uses Johnson Window Films - Carbon.

I wish I could go in on this but weekdays are really difficult for me because of work.

The date will be determined by the final six people who are participating... so I could add you to the list with the days that you can participate and once we get all six who can make it on the same day then those will be the chosen ones. Do you want to be added to the list with weekend as your option?

Saturday or sunday except for 16th and 30th. I will be at PIR all day those days

OK, it looks like we have five people that can do Wed/Thurs... @Rio is the only one who can't... so if we have a 6th person who can fit into a Wed/Thurs schedule then we can figure out the date.

I stopped in and talked with Roman today about tinting my Xterra. Good people there.

Oh no wife said i have to hold off on spending money on the car for a few months. I just spent more then enough with my supercharger and body kit she said!! So i guess i need to start selling some of my stock and used parts before i can buy anything right now.

I think this is the first time in 25 yrs I am whining about having a Mon-Fri 8-5 job. :mad0260:

If I can put it on my credit card, I could do a Wednesday or Thursday before 1pm.

I've been wanting to get my car tinted for months now, but I'm super apprehensive about what shop to take my car to and what film to go with as I've seen a lot of bad looking tint jobs and my car is darker so I think it'll stick out bad if it's not well done.

Do you know what brand(s) of tint/film your buddy is using? I may be interested in this.

edit: nm, found out the film brand reading through the thread.

I've got the factory tint (75%) or I would. An additional 35% will bring it down below legal limits. :(

I'm up for it as well. I'd like just the legal tint, and it looks like a good deal.

OK, we have our six guys. Now each of you need to call Fred immediately to schedule your appointment for Wednesday, March 26th. Let him know if you can be flexible on the time... the earliest appointment is at 9am and they will stay as late as needed to finish everyone.
