GT86 Headlight Conversion

I recently bought the left hand drive GT86 headlights from nigel-jdmparts.com and had them installed recently by Tommy @ Musicbox located in El Monte. The headlights came with factory ballast and bulbs. I had the LED DRL wired so they stay on 100% power. Came out great so I just wanted to share.

This thread led us to the correct direction for rewiring the harness.

The LED DRL wire I believe was connected to the ignition part of the fuse in the fuse box under the hood. You can see the black wire where it's hooked up. So the DRLs turn on when I turn the key, regardless if the headlights are turned on or not.

Here's some pics installed. I may have Tommy rewire it so the DRLs work how it should factory wise, where it dims to 50% when the headlights are turned on. It's pretty damn bright at night. Also, I'm probably going to swap out the bulbs to 6000K to match the rest of the lights.

Here's some pics of them installed.

Noz - I'm thinking if buying the same headlamps. Did you have to re-pin the lights or was it direct plug and play? Any help is appreciated
