South Bay Opticoat?

Sup friends,

Looking to get my new BRZ detailed/corrected and opticoated. Any suggestions and with price ranges? THANKS!

I'd be interested too if this opticoat business actually helps - perhaps a groupish "buy"?

check out this guy -- did opticoat for several local 86s while back and while I wasn't part of that, I heard good things. :)

I can vouch for Auto Salon Works too, my BRZ is on his site somewhere, he did full detail/opticoat for me and a year later it still looked perfect. The water beading was crazy, almost distracting on a rainy day.

Though I should warn you, he's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I already have a couple of paint chips on my car and it's not even a month old =[ did you have any and if so how did he deal with that and the detail/opticoat?

Not sure how he does with that stuff, I literally drove my car straight off the delivery truck to the detailer. You should contact him through his website, he's quick to respond usually

I would be interested if there was a group deal of sorts...

Andrew does great work, I told the dealership to not wash the car or even remove the plastic. I drove the car for 2 weeks before dropping it off to him to take care of the first wash and opticoat. Been meaning to take my car back after Livermore decided to wash my car with a dirty chamois even after I told them specifically not too..

I can also vouch for Andrew. Got my car to him three days after I took delivery.

$750? That's pretty cheap imo. You just got your 86 recently right? But then again... it's just a quote. Maybe more or less. How long did he take on your car?

I can vouch for Andrew @ Autosalonworks as well. His prices are a bit steep for some people to stomach but his work is TOP NOTCH.
