Contrary to popular beliefs, there are other countries in the world and they have different instruments and ways of measurement. This might blow your mind even more: some countries have vehicles where the car is right hand drive. Fascinating, I know.

Lol, the concept of "full" or "empty" still remains.. as well as 1/4 and 1/2... just don't understand, why R?

The 1/1 and 1/2 make sense to me, but I'll take a few guesses on R:

-Race to the gas station

-Race-ready fuel weight

-Ready for more cricket food

-Really fucking low

Mind is blown by checking how much gas is in the tank without turning on the car. O_O

DragonDriver5 03-07-2014 02:39 AM

The "R" stands for "Reserve" :party0030: and is apparently on a German car

strat61caster 03-07-2014 03:29 AM

Fucking space invaders errywhere.

Also the 'prius tires' thing bugs me. They're fitted to Audi's and Mercedes as well.

Die$eL 03-07-2014 07:28 AM

Because Racecar!

LOL

Makes me wanna go out for a drive now!

azian_advanced 03-07-2014 09:06 AM

Nothing I don't already know about, except the fuel level check when the car is off.
Still, every 86 owner should know about these facts.

Pretty cool, didn't know about the fuel check feature. Gotta try that out.

Also I think they meant that intake/induction noise is pumped into the footwell.

BRZnut 03-07-2014 10:53 PM

just checked the fuel check feature and it works! Cool

MVJ1975 03-10-2014 10:49 AM

Did not know about fuel check. Nice.

Yes, "R" is reserve. Makes a lot more sense than E, because the tank isn't empty on E. The tC's fuel gauge has the "R" as well.
