I received my shark fin after waiting 4 months from the VG group buy. Ordered in March then received in mid August. Very bad communication for a vendor and seemed really shady.

I ordered Tom's and a black metal interior plaque from him. Probably the worst on-line customer service I've ever experienced. However, I received the Tom's and the custom plaque is actually a beautiful piece. So I'll tip my hat for the craftsmanship.

At one point in time there was a phone number for texting. Maybe someone on the forums has it? Otherwise, I'm assuming that sad excuse for a business is gone.

Not sure haven't read reviews of them, am I better off going with the more expensive actual JDM ones?

He had trouble written all over him when he became a vendor here... Taking advantage of the hype of the platforms.

This shows you the real side of this guy. Banned and now for all those orders that are still pending... He's not shipping anything out anymore and pocketing the money.

I've had a set of authentic ones for a while now. I can't speak for the Helix ones from experience but here's a thread with some complaints: Helix Water Entry.

From this point on I can recommend Japanparts, Nigel-JDM, and Subaru-Online-Parts for your JDM stuff. I'm sure others can add to the list, I have personally had great interactions with all three.

Isn't Helix a Taiwanese based manufacturer? Not saying that's bad, per se (I have smoked Helix side markers myself), but the quality of the Taiwanese stuff is about on par with the Chinese stuff. That is to say bad.

@Brody602 Sorry to hear that you were scammed by said vendor :[

We are considering setting up a coupon specifically for members that were scammed by 86Industries/86_ZN6 for the Helix markers, so that at least you can get your markers without having to spend the full price again. Please let us know if you'd be interested in said coupon; we are just trying to look out for fellow enthusiasts.
