Greddy Turbo Kit 2.5/2.75" to 3"FP/CB Gains
Dyno results in for the change from 2.5" front pipe and 2.75" catback to 3" Front Pipe and 3" Resonated Catback @MAPerformance
Power band is smoother across the board along with torque and whp gains and increased spool through the whole band. This is untuned as well so there is still more on the table to adjust for the exhaust changes. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...xhaustDyno.jpg Previous Dyno for reference, will get an overlapped chart soon from Evasive. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...RZED/EVS-4.jpg |
So about +5WHP and +6WTQ? Definitely expected more, I think I've seen either Evasive or Prime showing dynos of 2.5in -> 3in and it was around the +60WHP. Maybe the tune is really the determining factor.

In a turbo application the bigger the exhaust closest to the turbo is what helps the most. Going from 2.5" to 3" in the Downpipe and Overpipe section is what would yield the most gains.
Thanks for this. Sick of people saying >2.5" exhaust isn't needed on these cars. |
I've got the ARK Grip (2.5 cat-back) and the Tomei 80... Not sure if the moderate power increase is worth the considerable increase of in-cabin noise.
Might have to carry a set of earplugs for the ladies. |
The tune will show the remaining difference. Your tuner will be able to add timing probably.

Looks good, I have been contemplating going to a 3" exhaust. Right now I am 2.5" after the down pipe (3"). How is the sound difference? Pretty noticeable?

Honestly it is a lot quieter than the Evo3 and ALL drone is removed which is nice because I am on the highway majority of the time.
