Hey might seem like a dumb question but did everyone else have this all over their windows when they got their 86 and if you did how did you remove it?

I googled agc automotive and i guess they make glass windows?

US govt says that a car glass supplier should put their DOT number and safety certification (AS1 in this case) on each part supplied.

I don't really know if there are any legal implications of removing it, though.

It's there for good. Etched into the glass.

It's there to help ensure your safety in the event of a crash. When your head shatters the glass in a crash, you want that to be safety glass, not some cheap garbage that was put in during a repair, for instance.
