Enkei RPF1 vs Motegi Traklite

Looking for a lightweight 17x8 that won't break the bank (read: around $1k). Will be used for daily with 1 (2 max) track days per month. Will also be paired with a BBK. I've narrowed it down to the RPF1 vs Traklite, the former being called the best-bang-for-buck, the latter being lighter by around 2 lbs per wheel, but also a bit more expensive. Thoughts?

Where are you finding the Traklites? I thought Motegi stopped making the 5x100 ones a couple years ago? I would check the fitment of the RPF1s with the BBK, the spoke design isn't always the most BBK friendly, but you can't go wrong with them if you like the style.

The 17x8 +45 RPF1 clears brakes the 17x9 +45 can't, and +35 just barely clears just due to the spoke design. The 17x8 has convex spokes, the 17x9 has flat spokes.

Enkei RPF1 17x8 - 15.6 lbs - $240.00
Pros: Lightweight for a cast wheel, Strong due to the design, Cheap cause you can find them used since so many people run them. Confirmed fitment with many BBKs.
Cons: Not hubcentric (73mm bore), Common, very common. Gravity cast so if they do break (which is highly unlikely) they will crack which has more potential for damage in catastrophic event.

Motegi Traklite 1.0 (5 spoke) & 2 (6 spoke) 17x8 - est $280 ea - 14.0 lbs
Pros: Super Light weight because they're forged. Strong due to the design. Cheap new for a forged wheel.
Cons: Not hubcentric (72.6mm bore), more expensive than a cast or flow-formed alternative

Others brands to consider: Kosei, OZ, Mach V (17x9 only), Sparco, BBS (used).
