Cool thanks, I'm just trying to see the average. Cause I got a toyota FT86. And I'm getting crazy about my fuel consumption. I bought the car 1 month ago. Had 2 tank fill ups. And with just 1/4 tank I've done 60km max. so this is pissing me off.
I caller my dealer and stupid guy said.. well you got a sports car that's supposed to consume in fuel. What the hell , NO IT"S NOT !.
My previous car a toyota liftback GT 1979 year , it's more efficient with a carburator than this new car.

You really should get a different car. I think this is the 14th thread you have on your poor fuel mileage. What RPM does yours idle at?

Do you really live in "Amish Town"? I know just outside allenville I've seen horse and buggies :bellyroll:

And how are you averaging 35 MPG? wtf, put your foot down for horses sake

Hi honestly I like this car, and it was my dream car when I first saw it. But I never thought I would go through this. If I'm not mistaken my idling is a bit high at around 800rpm.
One way or another I would find some way to fix this.

Easy, get a tune and adjust the idle target. Perceived problem solved(really not)

Thanks dude, I'm don't think this would be the issue but at least I can try. Is it that hard to adjust and tune up the idling on his car ? ECU Flash. or just a screw ?

You've done 60km and consumed a quarter tank, or done 60km and have a quarter tank left? As for your previous car, which engine did it have, and how were you measuring gas mileage?

Close enough that 100 yards up the road is a main Horse and Buggy route. 35 mpg is easy. Shift @ 2K and neutral down the hills. Rev match when going back in gear. If you look at my July 14th mileage I was pounding the rev limiter @ the Tail of the Dragon for 40 miles.

You want an ecu flash. Best bet would be to get an open flash tablet. Improves over stock tune and will smooth the car out. Well worth the money

You'll also note that I have an R8 to play with if I want go fast. Then I only get 7 - 8 mpg.
