TORONTO - shell / Petro Canada CARWASH (rails)

I always use the drive thru carwash without RAILS from Petro Canada.

Are the BRZ 86 twins able to use the ones WITH RAILS (the ones that you drive on the rail which pulls your car thru the wash?) or is the car too low?

Just wondering cuz i saw a BLACK BRZ drive out of one at Kennedy and sheppard last night and was curious to know if they damaged their car from the low ride height on the rail.

Doubt you'll even bottom out, stock form these cars are only slightly lower than the average people carrier. Obviously your gunna have to be the judge gauging the height of obsticals on and off the road, if you think it'll be close, probably not a good idea.

Constantly driving winter roads up here and always going over peoples dropped wheel arch ice has given me a pretty good idea when it'll scrape.

I use the shell wash at 16/McCowan all the time... no problems there....

Is this shell at 16th and mccowan on rails as well?

I've always used a carwash by my house that was on rails, they did a great job for $4 and had seasons pass to their carwash, $40 for 6 months! That was with my lancer though, I've been too scared to take my brz in to see if it'll work smooth.

I've only tried once with the rails, there is a piece of plastic that hangs down in front of the front wheels that scrapes. I backed out so I'm not sure if it would have broken or not.

The Shell has rails. The Esso down the street does not have rails, but Esso takes fooooorrrreeevveeerrr if there are people in front of you.

I've used the rail touchless petro at Warden and Steeles and McCowan & 14th. Stock height, no problems.
Usually use the touchless & rail-less petro wash at markham road south of 14th but the lines are so ridiculous now-a-days. Taking at LEAST 45mins to wash. You can go there if you're lowered and worried.
