Whiteout Monogram on the way...Keep Celica as winter car
My Whiteout Monogram is on the way, but I'm wondering that if I can afford to keep my Celica to use in the winter is this a safer winter car and a better idea to better preserve my new car or do you think this would be overkill and unnecessary...?

since your celica is FWD, should be ok. get decent winter tires.
i wouldnt keep 2 cars that has 2 doors since insurance is little higher than sedan. i would get 4 door beater |
Winter is over… when the next one comes your car won't be new.

Just DD the FR-S. Sell the Celica and use the money for winter tires, clear bra and Opti-Coat (pocket remaining amount for fun mods). All set!

If the Celica is paid for I would get winter/snow tires and keep for winter driving.
Not that the FR-S can't handle winter driving duty but winter driving does deteriorate a car much faster than normal driving. |
If your Celica is problem-free (03, I guess yours doesn't burn oil), you can choose to winter it.
However, I personally felt safer in my BRZ than the Celica (though that could be because I was the 2nd/3rd owner of mine, and the suspension was starting to age). |
