Left Lane reviews the FR-S

Poor test driver needs to go on a diet - he complains of getting jabbed by the parking brake handle, and claims it is where it is because the car was designed for the right-hand drive Japanese market lol. He also feels the auto tranny suits the car better than the manual.

i think those are the first complaints i've read about the cup holders. soooo serious.

DarkSunrise 05-09-2012 06:10 PM

That sucked.

wow, lots of haters in the comments. They're all doing math comparisons (hp, 0-60 etc). I wonder why they don't get that someone would actually want a small, fun, nimble car? There is no set formula for the perfect car.

What an insightful comment.

Wow... Why do I get the feeling that even if the FR-S was trimmed in unicorn hide worked by cherubs, a soda-fountain was installed in the govebox with a straw that reached the driver's seat, and the car, umm... "gratified" you at stop lights, they STILL would have hated it.

Also, judging by the tone of more than a few of those comments, I'd challenge anyone to look me in the eyes and tell me racism's dead in America. Of all the stupid reasons to hate a particular car, that's gotta be one of the dumbest.

:word: Racism is alive and going strong in America no matter how people downplay it.....

I... don't even... the comments... I...

Do those people actually exist? I mean the one guy tried so hard to call the design team "feeble-minded" but turned it into Feeble-mined. His follow up did the same thing. lol

The anonymity of the internet can bring out the worst out of the population. Though, its a rather sad day to see that even in these "modern" times, we're not too far from just 50 years ago. Oh well, bigotry is bigotry; I cringe every time I scroll down to read a few comments off Yahoo's news...

Ahh, Yahoo news commentators! Nothing else makes me think, "Hmm... maybe total annihilation of the human race isn't all that bad," like reading those.
