Door opening question
 

Lately when I open my door my hazards start flashing and the car starts beeping for about 3-4 seconds. It is the limited with the keyless FOB. Does anyone know why? I consulted the manual but can't seem to find it.

Cause your door was locked and the key fob automatically opened it for you. The hazards flash when the doors are being locked/unlocked.

hmm maybe i didnt explain it correctly. Ive had the car for almost a year now and this noise is completely new. The hazard flashes and beeps are lasting longer then usual. it almost feels like its warning me about something, maybe a low keyfob battery?

iam having the same issue, anyone?

Could be a whole host of issues. Check page 380 of the manual, none of those scenarios apply to you guys?

Did a wife or someone leave your spare key somewhere in the car (e.g. in their bag inside the trunk)?

Does the Frs come with this feature as well??

Only if you have one of the limited editions (e.g. RS1.0, Monogram, etc)
