i miss the mileage and space of my mini, but i don't miss the lack of power.

I still have my previous car and it's my DD. After I got the FR-S I actually had a few "falling in love again" moments with the Fit, mostly for the fact that I truly OWN it and for how amazingly nimble and quick it is around town.
The car that I continue to miss more and more as time goes on is my old '93 Accord. Ah, double wishbone all around... those were the days. That thing was such a dream to drive, its only downside was that it was the "10th anniversary edition" so it was your regular ol' JDM Accord that some "engineers" at "Honda of America" had haphazardly thrown on a bigger AC/alternator/etc in order to make it more "luxury". The end result was that you would have to remove a lot of unnecessary crap just to do simple engine work because they would have terribly thought out brackets to hold all these things covering areas that you needed to get to... and they would be weird stuff too like all the bolts on the JDM stuff faced one way and then the bracket that was haphazardly thrown on top would have the bolts facing the other way, it was nonsense. Eventually got run over by a lifted 'yota... damn rock crawlers =( |
I only miss AE86. I had a Z and MR-S. I dont miss those two.
I would love to build an AE86 like Keiichi Tsuchiya |
Had a 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS. The BRZ is superior as a car in almost every way except horsepower/torque, but I was SO attached to that car. Loads of sentimental value. It was a hard decision to trade it in. Still miss some of the creature comfort stuff the car had. Say what you want, but you get a lot of bang for your buck with American muscle cars.
Also had a 1993 240sx. Great car, wasn't as attached to it though. I was sad to let it go, but it was old and I had the Camaro with way more creature comforts. Also managed to sell it to a super nice kid that still emails me about the work he's doing on it, so I know it's getting taken care of. :) |

I miss my Audi A6 when:
It snows It's cold and I want butt warmers, I have to drive more then an hour the roads are bumpy miss the bose sound system when I need to carry more then one passenger when I pull up to drive through windows etc etc It's all worth it when I hoon around though |
Old car in sig.
I miss it terribly, the FRS is more nimble and "direct" feeling, but it cannot compare to the fit and finish and luxury the BMW had. That car would murder an auto-x and could be driven across the country in complete comfort and serenity. The FRS is anything but comfortable and serene on the hwy. I also miss the usable back seat, I've had four 6 footers in that car at the same time and no one was complaining. I couldn't even get my 5 foot 4 friend in the back of the FRS without my passenger sitting basically on top of the dash. Oddly I don't miss the power as much as I thought I would, but I do miss the smoothness of the S54 and the 8000rpm redline. http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g8...3/IMG_0646.jpg |

The only car I miss was my Corolla SR-5 five speed manual. My first new car. It had hand crack windows, and in red. It was a great car.

Definitely miss the heated seats and heated windshield washers jets that the Cooper S had! Especially this winter! :)
 |
I miss the exhaust note and shooting fireballs/gunshots.
