Clear side markers.. No water please!

I bought my first pair of clear side markers and within a month I have condensation and water accumulating in the lamp.. Is there an oem side marker that prevents this.. I'll pay the extra money if I have too just can't stand it anymore.

The only true OEM would be a JDM piece.

I picked up some on Amazon last year for like $65, and have had no issues with water or anything.

Now, our taillights on the other hand...

I have the helix ones, but before installing I used a silicon based sealant to create a 2nd seal

Got Subaru genuine clear side markers from Japan Parts. Took a while to arrive, but they're worth the wait. I had Helix side markers before and they both filled with condensation, leading to copper corrosion. Yay!

This is what I ordered.

Comes with both housings and some amber bulbs. Like I said, these are Subaru genuine parts, and it was immediately evident upon opening their boxes that they are 100% higher quality and better sealed against condensation.

We have the Genuine OEM Clear Side Markers available and no moisture build-up/condensation issues. Made in Japan and direct replacement of the orange unit that comes from factory.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

No to call anyone out, but did you order them from one of the vendors here on the forum?

Naw I bought them off of amazon.. That was my first mistake lol. I went and finally purchased a set of genuine side markers from ft86speedfactory and they have not condensated. I compared both products side by side and there were minor differences but definitely pay the extra cash.. Will save money in the end

Just seal them yourself before instal and it shouldn't be a problem

I got mine from hid powerhouse or ki_zn6. Fast ship(from Canada), good communications, legit product.

I got the JDM OEM ones and noticed condensation on one of the lights. I'm super pissed at this point. I got mine from Nigel.
