Spacers on all 4 corners / stock wheels (20mm/25mm)
First major-ish "adjustment" to the FR-S.
If there is one thing that bothers me about most US-sold cars it's the "tucked-in" wheels. I despise the "hellaflush" movement that makes cars borderline unusable, but there is definitely room for improvement. Thanks to spitfire481 I'm now a happy camper with 20mm front / 25mm back spacers. Click to embiggen if the monitor allows. It's a hell of a difference. http://zoltiz.com/cars/frs/spacers1.jpg |
"Embiggen" lol made my day

The stock wheels look pretty good with the spacers. Now all it needs is some lowering springs to really finish the look!

It still boggles my mind - why not push them out at least 20mm from the factory? I know it's not hard. Farking Cruze comes with proper offset even with steelies. Will never understand.

Embrightened the image a bit. Lack of sunlight is starting to get to me.

Any change in handling?

I dont give a crap about the road noise...got uel tomei, tomei overpipe, tomei front pipe, perrin 2.5" resonated catback, tune and thats what i hear:happyanim: Handling???? Nor give a crap about getting out of tight places ... The car looks awsome, i got my car beside another frs (completely stock) and the owner of the other frs was so surprised of how "cool" and different my car looks and sits. Even bystanders had to take a second look...."its the same car, but that one looks meaner"... One lady said.... It does change handling....front spacers, but i dont think rear do much for handling better or for worst...there are a bunch of threads here about wheel spacers on our car, continue on your search. My 2cents.... Have fun!!!!:party0030: |
