TTAC post about pre-production FR-S
|

I had no idea that TTAC had writers that aren't crazy. I thought they only wrote lunatic sensationalism, such as the recent rant about the Cadillac ATS pricing http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/201...place-failure/ I guess we'll see if Car and Driver can beat the challenge thrown down by the article:
"Fuel Economy: 22MPG average over mixed roads (track time not included)" |
Maybe I'm drinking the Kool-Aid, but I thought the ATS was priced properly and could very well herald the return of a once great brand. That TTAC writer does bring up some valid points, particularly about BMW's move to put turbo inline-4 engines into their cars and the backlash and about the American consumer, but he's entirely too sensational and too extreme to really do anything with what he says.

From the article author in the comments "While I agree that the chassis limits are fun to explore, the Genesis 2.0T has far more grip. "
Seems pretty clueless given that skid-pad tests of BRZ/FRS and Genesis r-spec in stock form are very similar. |
