E85 with SC kit? who haz

After getting a tasty tax return im considering going with E85 on my SC brz.

Just wondering who has this setup and what do you recommended?

Also how is the maintenance?

Any nasty problems?

FA20 flex fluel? or Visconti V2 version.

Thanks!

I have 3 maps, 93, 94 and e85. If you want a flex fuel I would stay away from both of those @moto-mike just developed a flex fuel kit you may want to check out

For a flex fuel kit I'd recommend looking into @PrimeMotoring or making a custom one if you trust a shop

@charged86 could chime in on sc+ e85
@DJCarbine maybe too?

Although I already have a pump/injectors and plan on going flex fuel I have not yet.

I would check this flex fuel setup out... http://www.moto-east.com/store/moto-...fuel-ft86.html

Very good dealings with them, and plan on going with that kit

I run E85 on my Innovate charged car 100% of the time. No issues as I have ran ethanol before and personally don't trust the shitty CA 91oct we get here in Phoenix. Get your car converted over to the corn

Can you elaborate on this?

I will be flex fuel tuned on my Innovate SC next weekend, pending no other hiccups.

someone is misinformed. flex fuel works fantastically well with ecutek, given that it's set up properly.

choi0706 02-26-2014 01:53 PM

proefi 128 can handle flexfuel..

E85 with SC kit? who haz

That is my exact setup.. it works great.

I don't push the right pedal as hard when there's less than 40% ethanol but there's never been an issue.

Why not? The whole point of flex fuel is so it calibrates to the Ethanol percentage lol...shouldn't matter if you have 7% or 70%, minus the power loss obviously.
