SO I SKREWED MYSELF BIG TIME

So, last week I manage to fuck something up in the engine (beering) because I didnt have any oil in my car. Well, one of the damn service reps got pissed because I kept getting oil changes for my car ever 3k miles. He tells me "oh these cars run for 10k miles without oil change, I have one too (which he did)" so I believed him. Anyways story goes, I ran my car for a little over that 10,000 mile mark and the beering got fucked up.

Here's the break down though, so if my car doesnt get approved by Toyota under my extended 5 year warranty.I will have to fork up 6-8k that I don't have to get a new engine.

I know it's my fault I didnt get an oil change, and the service rep was like smirking every time I asked if it will be under warranty. My guess is I'm super fucked, and I've been getting an ear full from mommy and daddy.
What should I do if it's not under warranty?

My friend said I could try to contest for the labor charges since they have started working on my car (under warranty). But they do not know who will be the one to pay in the end.

Anyone got some word of advice or wisdom? I sure could use some tips because I will honestly, raise hell. If they do pinn it on me, should I just look for other options in an engine then? Like 2jz or 1jz? Are there any options for me or did I just kiss my dream car good bye?

Let me know what you think of my situation, and what would you do if this happens to you.

I honestly feel, with the luck I been having, I will be the one pinned with this and screwed over all. Seriously dont know what to do with myself at this point.

Thanks

The thing that weirds me out, In Canada, the dealer says every 10k, Kilometers not miles.

10k miles is ALOT. Do American cars actually say 10k miles?

yeah the short block is semi-wrecked. so this short block is 1000hp?

I'm curious... how old are you, and how much do you actually know about cars?

Running extended periods w/o changing the oil won't deplete the oil. The oil just becomes less effective, but it rarely ever "fucks up" your engine. If all your oil is gone after 10k miles, you've got other problems than a delayed oil change.

And yes, changing oil every 3k miles is overkill and a waste of oil, unless it's a track car. Recommended interval (if you've spent any time on this forum) is
~7500 miles.

And wtf is a "beering"?

Yup.

It's on my to-do list. little lower compression is more forgiving for cheap and dirty pump gas.

America and some other few contries are the only1 who doesn't follow the metric system of other countries. Yes the idiot told me 10k miles, then when I brought my car in they told me 7.5k miles. I listen to that jackass now this happen. Im like by far raging.:(

The problem is this is most likely your fault...the warranty doesn't cover neglect nor owner error

I'm 22, I know very slim. And I did run for over 10k miles cause thats what the rep told me it would be "fine" 7.5k miles is whats recommended

@Marchy Im just an idiot in his 20's who listens to other people SMH :mad0259:
