Anyone else that filed taxes early still dont have a refund?
 

Like the title state, anyone who filed as soon as they got their W2 still waiting on their refund? Some of my friends who filed a week later than me already got their state and fedaral. I filed on Jan 26 and got my state refund 2 weeks ago. Still waiting on the federal one to show up.

wait, people still get refunds? All kidding aside, it depends on how you filed, also what your tax situation is. I would check on irs.gov to see if they were able to fully process it.

did direct deposit and I've been on the "track your refund" tool on the irs website since the 21st of Feb(which is when turbo tax said would be the latest date that I would get my refund). This is the first time I didn't receive a refund way early in relation to the date that turbo tax gives me.

e-filed, and deposited my check today.

I really wanna say fuck the IRS in this post, but that would be rude and I may not get my money so I will not SAY anything.

Filed first week in Feb. Received 2 weeks later.

Well, found out why. I called the irs and was told was randomly selected to verify my identity to prevent identity theft. Gotta wait 4-6 weeks for my refund now...

I e-filed on Feb 1st and got my federal return on the 7th. I couldn't believe how fast it came this year.

Got mine already. Didn't expect much. Got a lot. So I guess having kids and student loans pays off, kinda? lol
