So I'm not a bike guy, but I've seen a lot of bike guys say that this a bad design for a motorcycle. Something about the front rake ruining handling, among other things. Anyone have any insight into that, because I think it's gorgeous.

Bike guy here. I wouldn't ride this, and I feel bad seeing Lotus' name on it. The front rake it too far out to make the handling anything remotely nimble. It also strikes me that I'd prefer it with a fairing/windscreen that actually got the rider out of the wind.

I agree with what you're saying, but I would still love to have one to take to shows; it's sad that I would consider anything Lotus a "show/cruise" bike, since they are usually no nonsense performance, but I love the look.
