17x9.5+25/10. Color depends on wheels, but maybe mag blue if it doesnt have much lip, but a bronze lip black face if there is lip.. or vice versa.

BRZZZZZZZZZZ 02-25-2014 06:22 PM

16x7s square (performance oriented) with a +40ish offset, and some zany color.

I'm close with my 16x7 +46 TE37s + spacer but I don't think I like the bronze...

It got moved to the commercial section without notification. I made a new thread since it would eventually be buried in the stack of advertisement posts.

Maybe you can ask one of the friendly mods/admins to move relevant posts from that thread over to this thread so everyone can see what's been posted.

Deleted the thread to just provide a clean slate. I have some ideas why it may have been moved, but, I prefer to have a thread meant for nice wheel sizes. I'm pretty sure this will provide a place to provide opinions and ideas that aren't constrained by what is already available on the market.

18x9 18x9.5 or 18x10... +35 to +38 range.

I say 18's because there's a wider selection of tires. 285/30r18 Direzza Z2's would be the shit wrapped on 18x9.5 +38 wheels.

With 285, a 18x11 would look better.

For sure! Problem now is, you're going to need coilovers and flares or some kind of wbk to cover the wheels. Pretty extreme with a 18x11. Too much for me. However, you can get away with a 285 wrapped on 9.5's. But yea, 255's are as much as I probably need anyways. I'm a meaty functional tire lover :)

Evasive's riding on 18x10's. Probably way more than what everybody needs.

But for the most of us, a 17x9, 18x9, or 18x9.5 is plenty. Heck, even the stock wheels are enough for many!

I say it's all personal choice and what you're going to be using your rims for. For example, this season, I'll eventually get around to wrapping my OEM wheels with rs3's. Should be plenty for a stock everything, but tire, setup.

Pure performance and still non-turbo like the most of us, I'll take a crack and say the best budget lightweight setup would be 17x9 with 245's or 255's. Hard to beat the Enkei's. 18x9 would probably be next. 18x9.5 is sweet too! Hard to say. Depends on what market you want to capture.
