Galaxy Blue Silica (GBS) Registry
Hi all. I've been curious how low of a production number my car is for the Galaxy Blue Silica (E8H) paint code. I've decided to start a registry. My car was a very early June delivery car which means it was on the back end of the first round of shipments. Since the build dates were prioritized by colors (most popular colors built first) it is entirely possible that I have one of the first GBS in the US. List your username, state, and the last 5 of your VIN.
***UPDATE*** Thanks to Laika for starting a Google doc for us to use. Add to this one! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...2c&usp=sharing Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk |

I am #01247 though, WA state. BRZ. |
1. NYC BRZ, New York, #00937
2. DeepHunta, Washington, #01247 3. KelvinBRZ, California, #08262 -- There's not a lot. I bought mine in May 2013, 4 months before GBS got discontinued. See below for my thoughts & estimations :D COPIED AND PASTED FROM GBS COMP THREAD -------------------- I'm curious for the numbers on North America total as well. But if I were to make an educated guess, looking at sales numbers now, the MY2013 BRZ will sell a total of around 10000-11000 units I think color schemes go something like this (read somewhere on the forum, I could be wrong but I've calculated this before & it makes logical sense) WRB ~ 25% SWP ~ 19% DGM ~ 16% CBS ~ 12% SSM ~ 12% GBS ~ 8% LR ~ 8% *LR will eventually outnumber GBS due to discontinuation ***Which means that there are ~800 units of GBS, at MOST 1000 units of GBS. (Speculative) ------ Let's say there are 1000 units. 2/3rds of them will be limited, and 1/3rd will be premium 333 premium 667 limited Out of the 333 premium, 1/3rd will be automatic = 111. Since the premium automatic is discontinued, the model & transmission is a double whammy with only 100-150 units of the car ever made... |
Anyone have a GBS with a lower number than me?

:w00t: I saw two that were lower, one in the 0060's and another in the 0080's. Both cars were pre-production models from SOA so...you may have one of the very first production models in the states. |
