Anyone interested in buying a used 10 series?

hey guys

Do you know of anyone looking for an FRS? My 10 series might be on sale in a little while. There are some employment issues with my family right now, and the extra car makes it difficult.

I've got RSR springs (1" drop) and some very exclusive Enkei RPF1s 17x9 (+35) in bronze with Mich. PSS tires. I also have a Perrin lightweight crank pulley and TRD exhaust and spoiler on it. Uninstalled - I have a Unichip and an AEM intake.

Oh yeah forgot to add I have the toms tails and some misc led bits I haven't installed too

Car drives great, it's in great shape. Car will also come with custom car cover and original wheels and tires. Edmunds puts the car in the $26k range for a private sale, and that's without the extra goodies. I haven't priced the car, but that's the info I have at this point.

Mileage is approx 5600 mi

how much miles?
m/t?

Would you part the RPF1's? If so how much with tires? Still deciding whether I want RPF1's or those new SSR V01 or V02 rims.

It's a m/t. I don't know how many miles right now, and she's covered up with the car cover right now, so I'll get back with mileage tonight. I think it's between 7 and 8 thousand though.

As for selling the RPF1s separately - I suppose I could. If the buyer of the car wants just the stock wheels. Those SSRs are sweet - but they're gonna cost some bucks when they finally come out. I hope they make a good fitment for the FRS too. That's cool that they're selling SSRs again. I thought they lost US distributors for a while.

If you would have left it stock I would be very interested.

It can be returned to stock condition very easily.

sad to hear you might be selling your car. hopefully it goes to a good buyer.

Thanks. I really don't want to sell it if I don't have to. If I sell it, and problems resolve themselves, I'd want to get another one.

I actually have come to like all the 10 Series bits (light up badges and stuff).

I would be worried about any warranty or recall problems that might come up later. I wouldn't want the mods to void the existing warranty.

You could prob make more money by returning to stock, selling your aftermarket parts separately, then selling the 10th.
You never get back the value of add ons to a car when you sell it with the car.

If you want to part. How much for Exhaust and intake?

That's fine. There are plenty of other FRS that are still stock you can pick from. 10 series are a little more rare though.

Maybe. I would probably end up paying a pro shop to replace the parts back with the stock pieces (I didn't install any of the suspension or exhaust bits myself - had a good suspension/alignment guy do it).

The cost for his labor would probably be the same as what I would make selling the aftermarket pieces. Not worth it.

If it comes down to it, I'll sell what I can easily remove, and the rest goes with the car.

I can't separate the exhaust - it came with the car. There is nothing to replace it with.

The AEM intake though - that's already uninstalled. They are about $300 new. I'll sell it for $200. It has less than 1000 mi on it.

I also have the UniChip if anyone wants to buy it also. Price new is about $450. I'll sell it for $250. It also has less than 1000 mi on it.

My wife is interviewing for a few positions this week. Hopefully she gets an offer, and I won't have to sell the car. :p *Hoping, praying, crossing fingers, clenching.*
