Where to get gas in San Francisco?

One of the theories on avoiding the crickets noise is to use gas without ehtanol.

Anyone know of such place in SF?

Or even a station that has 94 octane? (or is it 93 octane that is required?)

No 100% ethanol free in CA, and you're only gonna find 91 in SF. 93 is recommended, but 91 works if you don't have it. Race gas stations might have 94 or 100, but you're gonna pay out the nose for it.

Shell vpower gas or e85 works for me.

I notice crickets so far regardless of gas (and I only use either Shell or Chevron, 91). The crickets only come after some hard driving, in daily driving - I don't ever hear them.

^same here, switched back and forth between Chevron and Shell and found Shell vpower to pretty much get rid of the crickets

Same, I found that Chevron giveth the crickets, and Shell or 76 taketh thy plague away.

Since some guys running E85 don't have crickets that kind of kills the theory that ethanol is the cause.

Shell works for me as well. I ran costco gas a few times and it chirped like a cricket on speed.

Live with the crickets or get a new car.

Left my crickets alone, they got bored and left 10k miles ago. Don't waste your time worrying about it imo.
