Removing shipping plastic adhesive

Hello all,

My BRZ is just a few days old and I instructed the dealer not to wash it, so it has some of the adhesive residue from the transport plastic still on the panels.

What's the safest way to remove these?

Thanks!

Dude... just peel it off, it's not rocket science.

I can't peel off the adhesive, it's the left over residue on the panel.

A product like goo gone would be fine just use something that won't eat your paint. Clay bar should remove it too and just wax it after. I read it wrong and I thought u were asking about the plastic wrap and not the residue. Sorry.

yes use automotive goo gone, or 3M adhesive remover or Stoner's Tarminator.

Had the same issue; i didn't use anything the others suggested; I used what was left in the Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound that I had left. Took everything off and left a nice shine, even took the swirls out that were left by the awesome dealership detail department...

Use WD40.
