This is for a convoy to go to the meet. Meet is in Oregon. Do the math

Hippophobia 02-24-2014 12:17 AM

Hoping I don't work for this. I'd like to go.

:sigh: not really the problem if someone didnt make a stupid suggestion......clearly theres a time restriction and someone comes up and says push the meet to a certain time.....clearly someone wasnt thinking.

I'll wake up earlier this time. I missed the seattle convoy last year and headed straight to Perrin. Count me in. Southcenter BOA, 7am. Got it.

Z, wake up early! :)

Caramel Flan with soy for me please. Thanks Z, you're the best :)

Everyone can start placing their orders now

I'm just "jokening".

Pete156 02-25-2014 02:42 PM

Black drip and a morning bun.

And can you throw in a 98 degree barista who likes loud music for the convoy?

Loud techo, trance, dnb, and dub step music?

Oh yeah, find me one of those too will ya? ;)

Touge_ninja 02-26-2014 01:15 PM

I never said I didn't know how to make 'em. It's not that hard to make their drinks which is why I started not liking that job... People come in every day for a drip coffee; why don't they make their own damn coffee?!...
:offtopic:

.....there ARE some cool off-menu drinks though. We definitely took advantage of experimenting with the pre-existing recipes!

I have my reasons for being bitter (ha) about my work experience there, so please excuse me when I say, "Back off, ok?"

86main 02-27-2014 05:06 PM

Im down. So this is a pre meet?

Touge_ninja 02-27-2014 05:35 PM

Yes, then we all convoy south to meet up wit the tacoma group then head down to perrin.

naikaidriver 02-27-2014 06:18 PM

Count me in...

BanzaiZee 03-02-2014 04:13 AM

Nothing terrible, we just got separated on the way to Centralia from Southcenter because people didn't know how to keep a caravan intact...

:burnrubber:

Touge_ninja 03-03-2014 11:50 AM

Last I remembered the Perrin convoy from last year made it there as a whole group ;)

OoLong 03-03-2014 01:30 PM

Even though I already live in PDX, I might just travel up to Seattle to join the convoy... Good luck guys, break some necks!

I think that's mainly due to the group waiting and having another meet up point right before heading in here :D

sittinSideways 03-03-2014 06:17 PM

I'm interested. Always wanted to be part of a large 86 convoy.

Pete156 03-03-2014 10:55 PM

To all interested in this Caravan to Perrin

May I suggest routine stops at the REST AREAS between Olympia and Portland along I-5. I think there are three. It will provide 5 minute bathroom breaks and a chance for the group to reassemble if separated. It won't slow us down much at all, if everyone is fully fueled before hand. It will also provide those who may be running behind a chance to catch up, and photo ops. We don't necessarily need to be at Perrin by a certain time. I would consider anywhere between 10-11 a good time to ROLL in.
Last year the group made it there intact, and did not need to gather pre-entry. It was lead by Carl.
If the group needs a leader this year...............................??.......:D
Any thoughts?

Touge_ninja 03-03-2014 11:12 PM

I will elect myself as leader :)

sittinSideways 03-03-2014 11:13 PM

Definitely voting an NA as a the leader. And rest stops are good, I like that idea.

HA with the way you are on the gas pedal, we're all going to have to make an extra fuel stop ;)
