Looks like I might be going down Friday night and staying in Portland for the weekend, but I'll see you guys at the meet anyway. : )

Try to stay in one group! *coughnwmegameetcaravanfail* ; )

Nothing terrible, we just got separated on the way to Centralia from Southcenter because people didn't know how to keep a caravan intact...

Last I remembered the Perrin convoy from last year made it there as a whole group ;)

Even though I already live in PDX, I might just travel up to Seattle to join the convoy... Good luck guys, break some necks!

I think that's mainly due to the group waiting and having another meet up point right before heading in here :D

sittinSideways 03-03-2014 06:17 PM

I'm interested. Always wanted to be part of a large 86 convoy.

To all interested in this Caravan to Perrin

May I suggest routine stops at the REST AREAS between Olympia and Portland along I-5. I think there are three. It will provide 5 minute bathroom breaks and a chance for the group to reassemble if separated. It won't slow us down much at all, if everyone is fully fueled before hand. It will also provide those who may be running behind a chance to catch up, and photo ops. We don't necessarily need to be at Perrin by a certain time. I would consider anywhere between 10-11 a good time to ROLL in.
Last year the group made it there intact, and did not need to gather pre-entry. It was lead by Carl.
If the group needs a leader this year...............................??.......:D
Any thoughts?

Touge_ninja 03-03-2014 11:12 PM

I will elect myself as leader :)

sittinSideways 03-03-2014 11:13 PM

Definitely voting an NA as a the leader. And rest stops are good, I like that idea.

HA with the way you are on the gas pedal, we're all going to have to make an extra fuel stop ;)

I was referring to the NW Mega Meet, hence the *coughnwmegameet* thing....

But at least I'm not the only one who thinks you have a lead foot! ; )
