Invidia Q300 + Full catless set up raspy?

So I have a turbo set up with EL headers, full 2.5in catless Invidia set up with N1 currently. Too f'n loud. I found someone to trade with a Q300 (Since mid pipe design is the same, just a axle back swap) for my N1.

I tried searching for some full catless Q300 set ups, but was hard to find on Youtube (few catless front pipes with stock header). Does anyone have a Q300 setup with completely catless pipes? Do you get rasp at WoT? I really want to tame down my exhaust noise but hate getting rasp (N1 is not raspy at all).

If you have some videos, I would appreciate it a bunch!!

No, both Invidia systems are non raspy even in catless setups surprisingly. The Q300 will do exactly what you want it to do, except being catless will make it a bit louder than normal, but VERY tolerable. Highly recommend it as I have used a Q300 and I'm currently using an N1 with my UEL. Love both exhausts as they are great at the tone and sound they produce depending on what you want.

Im running fully catless and no rasp just a nice rumble and tone throughout the rev range

Q300 wont be raspy on a full catless setup.

Agreed, I have a Q300 and OP/FP complete catless with catless UEL header on way. The way it sounds now pre-header with how quiet it is with zero drone/rasp, I cannot see any way possible it will rasp when I throw on a catless UEL header and am completely carless.

The only cars I see that have rasp with a Q300 when I google are not FRS/BRZ, but other car models running their version of the Invidia Q300 (therefore those are not applicable to our car model/Q300).

Just installed it last Sunday, need to get a video up but with my set up (First post), no rasp at all! I've heard unresonated 3in Perrin setups with catless headers and they rasp.

Cruising, its so tame now, I kind of miss the rev match down shift noise with my AT, which I can't hear anymore.

With the center muffler design, does it cause more back pressure compared to the "cannon" style (N1, Tomei, Evo3) exhausts? The reason why I ask is I'm FI'd, and don't want it to cause trouble by changing the cat back without a retune.

Here you go, Borla and catless frontpipe with a q300. I know it isn't turbo and its UEL but its a full catless set up with a q300... hope it helps

Here is another, slightly different set up, not turbo and UEL again though...

Seriously considering picking up he Q300. I plan on possibly the JDL UEL catless header and catted front pipe. Will this give me the boxer rumble everyone is after and no drone or rasp. It's a DD so I want a great sound when I open her up but nice and civilized when cruising in town or on the highway

Great, thanks! Now I just need to decide if I want the blue Ti tips. I think they should look nice with Crystal Black Silica.

I will have this setup very soon. Nameless front pipe will be delivered today.

JDL UEL --> Nameless Catted and Res Frontpipe --> Invidia Q300 Cat Back. I think it's going to be Money!

That's a great setup. I would have ran that but I opted for JDL's ceramic coated overpipe. Still a great choice to run. You'll be happy with it.
