Your Top Three Form of Automotive Racing, From Two to Ten Wheels.

Just trying to get a general consensus of what types of auto racing we Passion Over. If you can start with your Third selection first then go on down to your favorite which will be your third selection on these forums but will be your MOST Favorite type of Racing. I wish I could set up a poll but that will be damn near impossible due to all the forms out there. From 1/12 Scale Radio Control RC Racing to Fórmula Truck. So what is your top three. Here is mine.

3) FIA World Rally Championship
2) NHRA (Talking about the three fastest classes - Monster Nitro)
1) Formula One of course

When I was in high school twenty odd years ago I was into Indy Events, but the split, realignment and keep cost down have really F'ed up innovation. And the new cars sound like Bumble Bees. Hell I grew up in Long Beach and never saw a race. I see these open wheel cars driving around and I think "where in the hell did the down force go"?

The F1 Cars have the monster down force and they Rev as high as Rice Rocket motor cycles and you can hear it. So intoxicating!

The modern indycars run nearly as much downforce as formula 1 (I can't find exact numbers for F1, but it's definitely in the same ballpark). If anything, I think they're a substantially better aerodynamic design, since they run more ground effect and less wing.

Oh, and my list?

1) F1
2) WRC
3) NHRA drag racing (esp. top fuelers - everyone who likes motorsports or cars should go watch these sometime, since the experience is unbelievable)

Almost all of them are good, really, but if I absolutely have to narrow it down, in no particular order.

ALMS
NHRA drag
USHRA Monster Jam :D

I don't usually have time to watch, but my order would be:

F1
MotoGP
ALMS
WRC
