I've been a Scion owner long before a Scion dealer. I'm active in the car scene here in Cola, and I'm usually at 2-3 meets a week. Planning on buying one of the first FR-S' we get here.

Hey Kevin do you have a fr-s in Columbia I can sit in or test drive?

We're scheduled to get our first one on May 22nd, and it's on sale June 1st.

I believe it will only be to sit in, in the showroom, for now at least.

Keep in touch, and I'll keep this thread updated with any more info I've got. I'm trying to convince the managment that we need to have a launch event, but time will tell how convincing I am. lol

I'm going to a training class in 4 days for thr FR-S and we're only 8 days away from recieving our first one at the store!

Kevin I have a friend that is interested in the FR-S. I told him you were getting one but was not sure if it was spoken for yet? what color is it so I can see if he needs to head up that way and talk to you.

We sold the Asphalt yesterday, and as I type this someone is test driving the Argento. Send me a txt or call me, and I'll keep you posted what happens with the Argento.

Still sticking to the "only test drive if you're buying today" thing?

I was there with a friend on the 14th because I saw them from 77, sitting on the lot. He needs a car fairly soon, I'm in no rush. Or at least I wasn't then and due to work I might be very soon. Bill told us we could test drive it (unprompted actually, we just came to look), but we were on lunch break and I needed to get back to Greenville before 5. He said if we came back we'd be welcome to. So we did come back when I had to head back to HQ on the 18th, and both had been moved into the showroom. Bill was out with another customer so we waited around for about 15 minutes on him. Someone else came up and said he was still busy, and asked if he could help. We said we were there for the test drive we were invited to take. "Ok, no problem" and we waited while he got someone else. That person then took my license to copy and came back saying the manager was "only allowing test drives if we were serious about buying today." Since it's "a brand new sports car" and he "didn't know what Bill had told us." I wouldn't have bought that day even if I loved it. Silver isn't my thing on the FRS. We were just a little pissed that we stopped by again to have our time wasted.
