weird noise from clutch pedal area...
it usually happens when i am shifting from 3rd to 4th, 4th to 5th, at higher RPMs usually 5-5.5k +. I feel the noise in my foot when i push the clutch in and disengage going into the next gear.
Is this normal? is it possibly just the noise under load or high RPM? or could this be an issue...? once again the noise is not from the transmission or the gear box, i feel it in the clutch pedal area more than anything. any help would be great. thanks guys. -Adrian |

is it a wooshing sound or more of a loud clicking sound? I have wooshing sounds at high rpm shifting especially when I shift fast.

I've actually posted about something similar to this maybe a week ago, I can feel the engine rpm through the clutch pedal as I press it in.

Drive by wire has a small delay between when you release the gas pedal and when the throttle actually gets reduced. Maybe try releasing the gas pedal a couple tenths of a second before pressing in the clutch. I noticed the RPMs will blip if I release the gas at the same time I press the clutch.
Maybe that is what you are experiencing? |
I get a noise from my clutch that sounds like a car honking. It only happens when the car is cold, and usually from first to second. but yeah, i always think a car is honking at me. passengers have commented too.
