Here they are. Not really a cold air, but rather it's an induction box. Wouldn't buy it. ARC is JDM bling, IMO.

does look cool though, my car is going to be a Frankenstein of parts MUAHAHAHAH

That spot would be a nice spot for a regular K&N Cone Air Intake...

IDK about that induction box though....

They should of done it like V engine intake. Orido's V86 has good setup. I would do it like that (w FA20 not V8)

Hot radiator air vs the relatively cooler air beside the head light... I'll take stock for now.

That said, I've been trying to figure a way to get decent high pressure and cool air from the front of the car, but the only things I can think of is the grill (too many bends) or cuting an inlet into the bumper (would look awful). Maybe we'll be taking the head light out like the mustang guys.

I can see companies doing the ram air induction.

:w00t: Very nice!!! all new parts are welcome, the more the merrier!!! :)

I see no benefit to that airbox. Even less because it takes in air from the engine bay whereas the stock airbox is ducted to cooler outside air. Not to mention you'll need to have the MAF re-scaled for that airbox. So yo're paying for a flashy air box and a tune to make probably less power.

Really, the only purpose I can see for that airbox is to display the ARC logo.

and make noise!!! awesome awesome noise! at least we can only hope since it will not do anything else lol :)

This looks like it will suck in hotter air than stock which is bad.

Lonewolf 05-08-2012 10:55 AM

That looks like a terrible way to spend $1,200 to advertise for ARC...

igorot 05-08-2012 10:58 AM

Had one in on my k20 and I loved the way it sounded. Didn't really feel anything though, and never got a tune. I might pick one up for shits and giggles
