anyone know of a quick and cheap alignment shop in SFV
title says it looking to get my new suspension professionally aligned. preferably close to reseda, ca
:thanks: |
you don't want to cheapen out when it comes to alignment. Stay far away from the monkeys at places like NTB, firestone, goodyear, etc. They might have good prices, but they'll most likely screw up your alignment worse. Also, if you're too low, they won't be able to get the car on the rack.
Look for a reputable independent tire shop...preferably one close to a track. these guys look fairly legit: http://www.valleypacific.com/special...t-specialists/ |
quoted me 500 for install and alignment. now i feel like i didnt hear him clearly. the alignment is 99$. hows that for pricing?

$100 is right on par with most places around here (Atlanta, GA).
Also, ask them if they'll do custom specs or if they'll only set it to factory specs. If they do custom, they'll most likely ask you how you typically drive as well as if you'll be tracking it or whatnot. Then they can go from there. $500 for install and alignment isn't terribly overpriced, either. But if you're doing coilovers, it's fairly simple and straightforward and you can get a couple friends over and it shouldn't take more than a few hours to do. |
West end alignment in Gardena corner balanced and aligned my car for 250 and it was well worth it as I don't think any other shop would of got my car handling this good. I'm sure there's a few that come close but Chris and Darin at west end are suspension pros!

Chatsworth Tire in...Chatsworth. They worked on my 97 240sx and had fair prices (that was a few years back though).

Westend. worth the drive to Gardena for anyone in socal. not expensive and still one of the best.
