Try them and tell us :)

Without looking I assume those are accomplishing (or trying to) the same thing as the TIC steering rack bushings? I like the TIC bushings.

Too new. These look good, inexpensive and easy to install, so I hope someone tries them out and posts the results.

if you were paying someone to install these, obviously it will take less time than the TIC bushings and you can save a bit of money - get 90% of the effect that you will get with replaced bushings.

Tried them. Great for perhaps scca bad for high speed track IMHO.

Why bad for high speed track? It looks like at high speed, the rack could wiggle about due to the soft bushings. The Perrin lockdown looks like it would prevent the rack from shifting around by constraining the mounting points.

Neither take long to install though, so install savings should be minimal.

Some give is good, if you ask me. It gets twitchy feeling up in the triple digits. If your a scca or guy who doesn't hang out at 125mph in your 86 this is perfect

It's twitchy at highway speeds, too. Any advice on how to cure that? I was under the impression that the twitchiness was from soft bushings.

Twitchy, quick reaction and wandering are three different things.

If it's wandering or vague, then stiffer (or solid) bushings are a great fix. If you find the steering is too direct and fast, then more caster will help a bit but there really isn't an easy fix. If you find it just reacts too fast to input a touch of rear toe in might help, or less aggressive camber settings.

I haven't experienced this at the track (with the TIC bushings which remove at least as much play). What are your alignment settings? I could make any car twitchy if I wanted to with alignment alone.
