Really?!?! Maybe that weird... I know for the fact Tag can be used. BWB Tagged me. As for mention one, few ppl have used it before.

I know few weeks back, someone had a problem about not seeing "Thanks" button... but that was due to lack of post count (10 posts),.. but that shouldn't be a problem for you.

Which browser are you using? Maybe that's why?

I've found "Mention", but I can't see anything about tagging.

Mention is nice to have. Sometimes when heated discussion & need some expert to come in to join the discussion.

As for the tags, think of it as photo tag thing in FB

@ichitaka05, I'm just testing the mention tag to see what it does.

Edit: Okay, this explains the "@bestwheelbase" I've been seeing at the beginning of some peoples' posts. old greg, when you're creating a reply -- there's a new icon up where you can make text bold or italicized, it's over on the right and looks like a loudspeaker. If you click that, it adds an opening and closing MENTION tag. If you type someone's username inside those tags, it will automatically throw the @ symbol in front of their name. I guess it's to clarify who you are talking to, or to bring a thread to someone's attention (since it will show up in their profile page under the Mentions tab).

Ahh, it all makes sense now. I was looking for Tag on the advanced reply page when it was above the main thread all along.
