I got a hole in my tire -_-

Found it flat this morning , i put air in it and I can hear the air leaking out it :(
Im still under warranty but are the tires covered?
Can the dealer handle this or do I have too go to a Bridgestone tire shop?

just go to any shop. if they're not asses they'll have you out in 15min with a cost of 15-20$ given that the hole isn't in the sidewall or the air isn't leaking for some other reason.

sorry man :/. i've seen shops patch sidewall holes in the past but it usually isn't recommended cuz of how much the sidewall flexes. i wonder how you got it though?

Sidewall = new tire. Prepare to get raped and buy new tire

I have no idea, but I'm hoping their some kind of warranty on them

sidewall hole = the tire is trash. Fogettaboutit.

Pickleahoy 02-16-2014 08:33 PM

There's no warranty unless you bought a separate warranty for road hazards on wheel & tire at time of purchase. The warranty booklet included with your Scion's manual baggy excludes such damage from warranty coverage.

Take this as an opportunity to buy a full set of Pilot Super Sports :D

Well, JLMtm, if the hole is in fact in the "sidewall", even though it could be patched, if it's not too big, you don't really want to drive on it ..... so, the tire is useless.

New tire time.....http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...es/grumble.gif

Call up Michelin. See if they'll prorate you that tire on good faith.

Isn't there that Michelin promise of 2 years free towing/flat assistance?

Also -- you cannot repair sidewall damage.
