Transferring down to Fort Walton Beach area

Going to be moving down to Fort Walton Beach/Niceville area and curious if there's any good tuning shops and forum members close by. Thanks!

Welcome to the area! There are a couple of shops somewhat nearby, and there are several good guys & gals here with twins.

Thanks! Looking forward to it, I should be getting down there around late March/early April. I've heard nothing but good things so far about the area. My car is pretty much stock aside from a few cosmetic changes and my P&L header, but looking to go FI while I'm stationed down there.

I'm hoping to get to that area in another couple years after I'm done in NC. It's a decent area, I've been there a couple times. You'll like it.

Welcome to the area!

We have a solid 15 or so in the area that are pretty active and come out to meets. Do you have Facebook? Look up the "Southeast 86" group and request to join. Everyone seems to be a bit more active there.

Shop-wise, give Bryan a call @ Driven Performance 8504768335. A few of us get our parts from them at pretty good prices and they're experienced with turbo builds.

Awesome news, thanks! Yeah I'll go ahead and search out the group on FB. Looking forward to meeting everyone! How often do you guys meet up?

I am here, and that is all you need. I am not a huge fan of any of the local shops or tuners, but I prefer to do things myself and not rely on shops. Since you have a BRZ I would recommend you join the Emerald Coast Subaru Club (ECSC) on Facebook. I am an admin for the Navarre/GB area.

We've met 4 times since I got my car in November and there's a meet in March in Birmingham and another in April in Biloxi that ought to be big.

PM me your name and I'll make sure you get added/introduced to the locals.

Fact.^ This man has completed his Full Blown turbo build and has always been willing to help anyone in our community.

Thanks for all the responses. I won't have my BRZ down there until later this year since I took my old Camry out to Oklahoma instead (where I'm stationed) because of the random hail storms out here. I'm originally from Virginia Beach so I'm gonna have to make a trip up and make the swap sometime. Regardless, looking forward to meeting everyone!
