What do you guys think?
Just wanted to know what your guys' overall thoughts on this. Saw it at the dealership last night.

Personally not my style, but I'm sure someone else would appreciate it.
Just,yikes,that price... |
What was it that PT Barnum didn't say?
|
It's beautiful. But that price Jesus!!!
|
I saw one of these in hot lava when I went to buy my car and I loved it but I could justify paying 30k+ for it...
|
id honestly probably have a stock one even if they were the same price. at that price there are some serious cars that could be had imo
|
I'd want to put a down-payment equal to the aftermarket parts + $2k.
Noway in hell would I finance those extras. Pay cash or get a basic version & pay for them later in cash elsewhere. I'm on my phone so if I make mistakes, blame Sportsguy83 |
259 dollars for tint!? I bet it's that dye stuff....
|
Par for the course when I was looking in late 2012. Most expensive I saw listed was about $39k before tax title license.
|
5axis and all the rest is up to your tastes. Price on dealer option mark up is ludicrous. If you really want it, $31K-$32K, no more. Overall I think it's screaming for JDM HIDs. I'm curious what tires they even put on those rims.
|
I think you can get a 2015 WRX STi for that price... And a host of other cars..

Gives you an idea of the costs of our cars after some of the popular cosmetic mods. It's just that we don't finance those mods. I'm on my phone so if I make mistakes, blame Sportsguy83 |

People can pay whatever they want, but paying full retail when you don't have to just messes it up for the rest of us. |
I would pass on it buddy. If i had that much moeny for all the extras, I'd just buy stock and do it myself. They threw in the whole "labor labor labor" stuff to me but i didn't buy into it.
At the end the car total is about 36k msrp. I rather buy stock for 24k and throw in 12k. |
Gotta love that having Be-Spoken

Just checked the 5 Axis website, body kit $1445, wheels $1300. The prices shown on the sticker are with dealer markup. This is pretty common dealer package offered in my area. Like someone else said it depends on your tastes. Personally I like my car pretty much the way it came from the factory, so these "upgrades" are not for me. |
That is a beauty!
However, do your homework like @jblmr2, before pulling the trigger. At that price, you could have so much more done on your own dime with your own touch. Good luck on the search, there are plenty options out there. |
That price defeats the purpose of this car..
|
Trd exhaust and that audio... yikes! Dealer stealers

At first I thought the price was 26k. I was wondering why everyone was commenting about the price haha. For that price I would at least want it to be a monogram.

Of course you can get a better exhaust for that price, but that really is about how much the Trd exhaust costs if you were to buy it in your own.
As far the oem audio system, no, I don't think you can get that level of quality for that price any other way. You can definitely build a better system, but it's going to cost you more. I'm on my phone so if I make mistakes, blame Sportsguy83 |
If you have enough to put down the cost of the options plus 2k why not just buy stock and build it on your own. More fun, more unique and probably cheaper.
|
Pass. I actually think it takes away from the car.
and Be Spoken? Unprofessional and embarrasing. This would never happen with a Supra. |
I personally wouldn't buy it, probably cheaper to go aftermarket, unless you REALLY don't wanna deal with purchasing and installing, waiting, etc. lol
|
According to Scion's website, the BeSpoke premium audio system should only add $845. I have no idea where the $1595 came from. The TRD exhaust is $1100 on Scion's page. The disclaimer at the bottom of that sticker lets you know that information on it is not from the manufacturer but from the dealer. Obviously the pricing of normal options is not from the manufacturer. I'd go someplace else. As far as the wheels/tires/tint/etc. I have no clue if those prices are inline with what you would pay on your own.
|
$35k for a 2013... come on... u can get a 2014 monogram for less...
|
I'd pass on it. Don't let the stealership take all that dinero from you man!
|
No thanks.
|
When you get into that price range there are a lot of other choices out there. And I doubt you'll see much return in resale value despite the extra cost of this one.
Better to buy stripped and do your own mods. At least you would have the original parts to replace if selling/trading the car and the mods could be sold to recoup some of your extra cost. |
